J. de Telmont Vintage Champagnes

Grand Vintage 2004

Sometimes nature generously presents us with a harvest of exceptional quality, deserving the best treatment possible. The wealth of qualities found in a Champagne produced with the grapes from a single great year make it ideal for aging. Made up exclusively of première cuvée white Pinot Noir, Meunier and Chardonnay, this is a well-balanced,smooth and fruity Champagne that stands out for its refinement and distinction.

Tasting description: Fine bubbles, good mousse and an unbroken string of bubbles. A buttery, brioche note can be discerned in the initial nose. When swirled, the nose is more developed and present, with almond and toasted bread notes and hints of aniseed, cinnamon and spices.

The attack is strong and sumptuously fresh, with an elegant subtlety. It has a good lenght in the mouth, when almond and spice (cinnamon) notes return with a hint of aniseed. A beautiful harmony.

Grand Blanc de Blancs 2006

This Blanc de Blancs is the highly harmonious result of an assemblage of renowned white grape crus, and the fruit of a single great year. Made up exclusively of a white Chardonnay grape, it stands out for its delicate pale gold colour, finesse, extreme lightness and incomparable ruitiness.

Aging for several years in our cellars gives this Champagne true nobility.
Tasting description: Pale gold tinted with green reflections. The mousse is fine and tenacious. The initial nose has the buttery notes typical Chardonnay, mingled with white flowers (hawthorn).

The nose then turns towards more developed notes with a hont of toasted brioche. The attack is fresh and bold, becoming remarkably refined in the mouth. It ends with a rich finish, with the return of buttery and lightly toasted brioche aromas.
