Actor John Rhys-Davies to star in Champagne de Bleuchamp's latest campaign ‘A Spectre Calls'

John Rhys-Davies (Lord of the Rings, Indiana Jones, James Bond The Living Daylights), will play the role of an eccentric count who distributes Champagne from his mysterious chateau on the west coast of France for Champagne de Bleuchamp’s latest advert ‘A Spectre Calls’. John Rhys-Davies, speaking at Mews of Mayfair during the press launch described the project as ‘a real cracker of an advert, fun to watch and great fun to do’.

For the last two years, Champagne de Bleuchamp (made in Verzenay by the Pehu Simonet Grand Cru House) has been the Champagne sponsor of the BFI London Film Festival. Last season saw Brad Pitt’s film ‘Fury’ close the festival with Brad, who also makes wine in France, and his team drinking de Bleuchamp Brut late into the night.

Acclaimed Director Howard J Ford has directed five feature films and over 200 leading brand commercials described working with Rhys-Davies as the opportunity of a lifetime.
