Glass of Bubbly Interview

Where’s the most memorable place you’ve enjoyed a Glass of Bubbly?
On the staircase when my agent rang to tell me that I’d just been offered my first book deal, October 2005. The bottle of Moët had been chilling in my fridge for months waiting for that special moment and I was beginning to wonder if I’d ever get to drink it.
Then she rang out of the blue and told me that I’d been offered a deal.

Everyone I tried to ring afterwards was either out or engaged so I went to the fridge, took out the bottle and a glass and popped the cork, sat on the stairs by the phone waiting for my friends to ring me back and toasted my new life as an author.  It was the sweetest glass of champers I’ve ever had.

Which is your favourite Champagne or sparkling wine?
My absolute favourite is a sparkling, it has just that right amount of sweetness for me and tiny bubbles. I’ve become ‘associated’ with it. Peller Family Estates Ice Cuvée Sparkling Rosé NV

What does Champagne mean to you?

C: Romance
D: Enjoying great company

Celebration! There is nothing like fizz for highlighting those special moments in life.
