Others are the result of a blend from a single vintage and will have had the benefit of prolonged ageing. These vintage wines faithfully convey the specific qualities inherent in a single year.

Avize Grand Cru 1995

Lying at the heart of the Côte des Blancs on the lower slopes of the Grand Cru village of Avize can be found the lieux-dits of La Fosse, Némery and Champ Cain. In 1995 the conditions were initially quite tricky: springtime frosts were followed by a long period of warm, rainy weather.

When tasted in Spring 1996, these Chardonnays from Avize showed a perfect balance between power and liveliness, allowing us to expect a truly great vintage with the capability to age superbly.
Vintage 2000

2000 was notable for a very high average temperature, the highest since 1956. Thanks to the houses’ meticulous viticultural practice, the quality of the crop was very high and the musts measured around 10 degrees of potential alcohol combined with a tartaric acid content of around 7.5gr/l.
