House Lombard has been running for three generations, and is a family house that contributes to the fame and diversity of the wines of Champagne.
True to their roots, they perpetuate the inimitable style of Lombard & Cie through different vintages: They have their typical characteristics, but are all true reflections of the expertise of the house; Lombard & Cie is a champagne tender notes, with sweetness and vanilla – to the delight of the customers.
History
“Three Generations, One Passion”
In 1925, Robert Andrieu (grandfather of the current owner) founded S.A.M.E (Société Anonyme de Magenta-Epernay) in Epernay. The Company then aquired land and cellars in Epernay in 1936, where it still reamins to this day.
In 1960, Phillipe Lombard took over, and in 1987 the company expanded and built 5,000 m² of wineries and cellars in Epernay.
