7 Nights of Horror – Night 5 – Halloween
28th October 2020
Welcome to this new spooky series, where we choose a film and create a fitting Cocktail to go alongside, I’ll give you a little history into each film and the know-how to create a delicious Cocktail.
When you think of Halloween, the film, not the day, you picture a man in a mask, a knife in hand, dressed in overalls and of course, the talented Jamie Lee Curtis, Halloween is one of those Horror franchises that has survived generations, with the first film coming out in 1978 and with the latest films yet to be released, this is a franchise that is far from dead.
There are currently a total of 11 Halloween films, with a further two set to release in the next couple of years.
- Halloween (1978)
- Halloween II (1981)
- Halloween III: Season of the Witch (1982)
- Halloween 4: The Return of Michael Myers (1988)
- Halloween 5: The Revenge of Michael Myers (1989)
- Halloween: The Curse of Michael Myers (1995)
- Halloween H20: 20 Years Later (1998)
- Halloween: Resurrection (2002)
- Halloween (2007)
- Halloween II (2009)
- Halloween (2018)
- Halloween Kills (2021)
- Halloween Ends (2022)
Michael Myers, not to be confused with Mike Myers aka Austin Powers who has nothing to do with the Halloween films, has seen a load of different actors play the role, there have been 19 people play Michael Myers across the 11 released films.
Michael has three very defining features, his mask, his kitchen knife and his overalls, a fairly easy custom to replicate for this Halloween.
One of the most famous actresses from the Halloween films is Jamie Lee Curtis, she currently acts in 5 of the Halloween films, with her set to act in two more, another famous actor would be Paul Rudd, he acted in Halloween: The Curse of Michael Myers, way before he became Ant-Man.
