A Trip To Champagne Goutorbe Bouillot

We arrived in Damery at Champagne Gourtorbe Bouillot and for the first time on our trip, we were greeted by a lovely dog, older in age, very calm and welcoming, the dog gave us a detailed tour around the winery and poured us a glass of Champagne.
OK, so the kind dog didn’t give us a tour or pour us a glass of Champagne, but the kind owner did, Bastien Papleux greeted us and gave us a look around some of his vines, along with showing us the stainless steel tanks and his cellar.
Afterwards, we took a seat on a pre-prepared picnic table where he had laid out a selection of his Champagnes for us to taste, we had a lovely view of the vineyards behind us to make the moment even more special.
