Bartender Made Cocktails Cherry Temple

This article is made in collaboration with Mihai Burca, an amazing Bartender in London, United Kingdom.

The Cocktail that you are about to make is one of Mihai Burca’s Signature Fizz Cocktails, which he makes at Seasons Kitchen and Farm Shop, in London, United Kingdom.

Let’s Meet The Bartender!

“I’m from Romania and I moved to England in 2015. In 2016 I started as a full-time bartender at The Pig on The Beach Hotel where I had my first cocktail competition.

I was surprised to see myself as the Winner of my very first competition especially when Salvatore Damiano was in that competition too.

In 2017 Salvatore ask me to join his team at Chewton Glen Hotel (5 stars, part of Relais & Chateaux and Iconic Luxury hotels). I started as an assistant Bartender and a few months later I was promoted as Head Bartender. One year after I become the Assitant Bar manager at Chewton Glen.” – Mihai Burca

What Inspired You To Create Your Cherry Temple Cocktail?

“My passion for creating/making cocktails is “manipulated” by the feelings. When I make a drink I feel like time stops and I have a full control. My favorite drink is dependent on the mood, location and bartender, but I always go for a Mihai’s Margarita, and that is not because it’s my cocktail but because I find the most perfect balance drink.

Now I act as a Bar Manager in Surrey for two types of restaurants: Seasons Street Food: is a street food restaurant with a high cocktail volume (on a busy day we make around 25/30 Litres of cocktails). Seasons Kitchen: This is a restaurant between fine dining and casual where we are focused on signature drinks, homemade syrups, infusions or even artisanal liqueurs and beverages. Now we are looking forward to opening our very first hotel in the Isle of White.”

The Recipe for Cherry Temple

“As it’s cherry season, the star on the main flavour is cherry. Who brings a luscious and vibrant character to the cocktail. Its vibrant sweetness is complemented by the aromatic and earthy essence of thyme, which adds a unique and herbaceous twist to the mix. The pomegranate spuma contributes a sparkling effervescence that lightens the overall experience, creating a playful and lively sensation on the palate.”
