Bartender Made Cocktails The Milanese Miracle

This article is made in collaboration with Daniele Surico, an amazing Bartender in England.

The Cocktail that you are about to make is one of Daniele Surico’s Signature Fizz Cocktails, which he makes at MR.FOGG’S House of Botanicals in England.

Let’s Meet The Bartender!

“My name is Daniele Surico, born in a small town in Southern Italy. I was lucky enough to grow up in a family of cooks, my grandmother was obviously the boss. I learned from her from an early age how to cook and enter the world of flavors. When I turned twenty, my family opened a restaurant/pizzeria and there I jumped into the cocktail & dreams bar land.

It didn’t take much in 2005 to have the opportunity to fly to one of the most coveted cities in the world of drinks, London. From that moment I’ve made sure I was surrounded by professionals, trying to improve and evolve my palate with new recipes and techniques inspired by haute cuisine. We are beverage chefs!

When asked about my favorite cocktail, I always answer in the same way. Let’s say that I prefer Tequila and Rum over all the rest of the spirits, but I appreciate any spirit done right, of course. My palate appreciates bitter and sour, loves umami and strong flavours, I also enjoy bubbly drinks and even sweet can be my choice sitting on a deckchair, in flip flops. sipping a tiki by the sea. Every drink has its own place, its exact moment in your life.”Daniele Surico

What was the inspiration behind your Milanese Miracle Cocktail?

“It’s easy to tell you my inspiration for the Milanese miracle. I wanted to incorporate into the drink the flavor that represents the Christmas holidays and that is Panettone, a cake born in Milan and now famous all over the world. Panettone and bubbles in an elegant Flute, a perfect marriage.” – Daniele Surico
