Billecart-Salmon Cuvées for the Festive Season

Billecart Salmon recommend a cuvée for the festive season: Nicolas François Billecart 2002Nicolas François Billecart 2002 and the Brut Rosé NV is always a very popular choice as a Christmas morning aperitif.

Nicolas François Billecart 2002

This exceptional cuvée was created in 1964 as a tribute to the House’s founder. It results from the blending of grands crus from the classified Côte des Blancs vineyards (Chardonnay) and the Montagne de Reims (Pinot Noir). Its vinification, partially in traditional oak casks, underpins the generous character of this fine, elegant and rich wine.

Tasting Notes: he balance of a tension controlled by the blossoming of the wine (caramelised stonefruit, light tobacco) and embodied by the line of noble biscuity flavours. A truly unique and personal character showing real vinosity.

Brut Rosé

The production secrets and the vinification method of this cuvée go back to the origins of the House of BILLECART-SALMON and have been handed down for seven generations. The Brut Rosé is a blend of Chardonnay, Pinot Meunier and Pinot Noir vinified as red wine.

Tasting Notes: Its special method of vinification gives this cuvée a light,
elegant flavour, followed by a fresh finish with a taste of raspberry.
