Chicken Satay and Peanut Sauce with Sparkling Wine

Chicken Satay comes from Southeast Asia, enjoyed fondly in Indonesia and Malaysia, the dish consists of marinated bite-sized pieces of chicken on a skewer, covered in and served next to a peanut flavoured sauce. You can also enjoy different meats like Beef Satay with Peanut Sauce.

Asian cuisine is certainly one to look into, some of their recipes are widely enjoyed in the western society with others not quite catching on, but the Peanut sauce, otherwise referred to as ‘satay sauce’ is one of those delightful creations adding a touch of sweetness to your savoury chicken, Peanut sauce is made from ground roasted or fried peanuts, it originates either from Indonesia or the Philippines.
