Enjoy Food Pairing at Les 110 de Taillevent
25th October 2015
Taillevent Paris, the Gardinier family-owned group behind the iconic two-Michelin starred Le Taillevent, has opened the doors to Les 110 de Taillevent London, a unique 70 seated wine and food matching brasserie, in Cavendish Square. Featuring a hundred and ten wines by the glass, including Champagne and sparkling wine, paired with contemporary and seasonal French dishes, guests will experience the spirit of Le Taillevent in a relaxed setting.
Making the French form of art-de-vivre accessible to Londoners, the wine list features rare and singular wines, caringly curated over the years by Pierre Bérot, Director of the Wine Department for Taillevent Paris. Guests will be offered the choice of four wines, in 70ml or 125ml measures, exactingly matched with their choice of starters, fish, meat, desserts or cheese.
Taking the art of pairing to new heights, Les 110 de Taillevent London presents this innovative concept beginning at breakfast. Dishes range from light starters such as pumpkin, velvety chestnut and hazelnut flakes and crab remoulade with dill and fennel to delicate fish mains including whole seabass with lemon olive oil dressing and hearty meat choices of sirloin with marrow bone and pepper sauce and saddle of lamb roasted with pickled garlic and rosemary. A select menu of classic French desserts includes ‘remembering our childhood’ a decadent selection of chocolate mousse, riz au lait, crème caramel and île flottante.
Les 110 de Taillevent London is set to be a notable addition to the London gastronomy scene, bringing a relaxed style brasserie to Marylebone with a focus on the wine experience.
