How To Make A Sparkling Wine Eggnog

We know eggnog as a traditional Christmas drink, but when eggnog was first made, it wasn’t, most agree eggnog originated in the 13th century during early medieval Britain, during this time the English drunk a drink called Posset this is made with hot milk and ale, it wasn’t until eggnog made it’s way to America in the 1700s that it became a traditional Christmas drink.
Fizzing up your eggnog this Christmas sounds like a splendid idea, but what Sparkling Wine should you go for?

How To Make Fizzy Eggnog
This is to make one glass of Sparkling Eggnog
- Grab yourself an egg and crack it into a cocktail shaker, a bottle with a lid or anything that you will be able to shake without the egg and cream flying out.
- Pour in 50ml of cream into your shakable bottle.
- Shake for about 1 minute.
- Strain your shaken egg and cream into your glass.
- Then fill up the rest of your glass with Sparkling Wine.
- Garnish with Nutmeg or if you want some chocolate.
- And enjoy your homemade Eggnog.
