ORA, an exciting new Prosecco brand launched onto the UK market this week. The result of a partnership between a winery and a creative company, ORA delivers high quality wine together with innovative and dynamic brand marketing is poised to become a big player in the UK’s Prosecco market.

The ORA winery is based in the superior DOCG Prosecco region of Conegliano Valdobbiandene. The range consists of Prosecco Superiore DOCG Brut, Extra Dry and Dry, Prosecco DOC Treviso Brut, “Happy” Cuvée Extra Dry and Rosé Spumante Brut.

ORA aims to reach its consumers in a very different way through the modern style branding which includes innovative packaging and new concepts. At the core of its marketing concept, the brand recognises that every occasion is good to drink a good glass, hence the name ORA, which means ‘now’ in Italian.

Why should a bottle only be beautiful at the front? ORA have addressed this by designing the bottles with the same striking branding on the front and the back. Beautiful from any angle. Even the wine cases are different. The cases resemble a postcard, where customers can write a thought and send a message to the recipient, just like a postcard. It’s a ‘real vehicle of ideas’, not just a cardboard box!

Julia Phillips, Director at Just Perfect Wines, importer and distributor of ORA for the Midlands, commented, “I’m really excited about the launch of the new ORA brand. There are so many high quality wines nowadays, you need to be able to differentiate your product and offer something more. ORA does just that by offering amazing branding and concepts, together with the outstanding high quality wine you’d expect from a DOCG producer”. Julia also comments, “We’re looking to establish distribution channels with the right partners who are as excited by the brand as we are. Such channels include trendy bars/pubs/clubs, bistros and wine merchants who appeal to the younger consumer in the 20-35 age group.”
