Tell Us About Yourself
“I am a young (22) aspiring winemaker, wine consultant and wine presenter from South Africa. I studied at Stellenbosch University in Stellenbosch and graduated in 2021. I have worked in Paso Robles, California at Law Estate Wines and in Germany at Weingut Wartenberg. I also have wine industry and winemaking experience at Kanonkop and Stark Condè in Stellenbosch. I have winemaking experience at Groot Constantia too.”
How Did You Become Involved In The Wine Industry?
“Through my family members and I love nature which got me into gardening and eventually viticulture and Oenology.”
As A Winemaker, What Has Been Your Hardest Obstacle To Overcome In Producing Wine?
“The long hours like the mental and physical fatigue but that is all a part of winemaking.”
How Do You Determine When Your Wine Is Ready To Drink?
“It depends on the type of wine, how old it is and who produces it.”
What Part Of The Wine Making Process Do You Enjoy The Most?
“Trying the finished product.”
Where’s The Most Memorable Place You’ve Enjoyed A Glass of Bubbly?
“On top of Table Mountain in Cape Town.”
