JCB Crémant de Bourgogne

JCB is a family-owned collection of historic and unique wineries, with more than 20 prestigious wineries in the world, including the Côte d’Or, Beaujolais, Rhône Valley, California’s Russian River Valley and Napa Valley.

Jean Charle’s Boisset is passionate about each one of his wines and they all have deep significance.  Every wine has a number with their own interesting story and personality. There are currently four Crémants in Boisset’s portfolio.

Jean-Charles’ philosophy of wine has been profoundly shaped by the wine region where he was born and raised: Burgundy’s famous Côte d’Or.

JCB Crémant de Bourgogne:

No.21 is dedicated to a spectacular Pinot/Chardonnay Crémant. No. 21 honours Boisset’s connection and heritage since 21 is the French government’s Department number for the Côte d’Or.

No.39 is a Chardonnay-based Crémant, named after the year 1939 when Germany had just invaded Poland and France was rallying its troops. Through the hardships of war, a couple managed to survive and find love: Jean-Charles Boissett’s grandparents.
