This Hampshire vineyard was planted in 2004 by Didier Pierson, an experienced winemaker from the Champagne region around Avize, South-West of Epernay.
Perched on the top of the South Downs near Petersfield, the geology of the area offers the perfect, well-drained chalk that is a direct continuation to that of Champagne, offering many of the same qualities.
The total vineyard area stretches to 12 hectares, four of which are currently planted with a mix of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir vines. Three sparkling wines are available, Meonhill Reserve, a Chardonnay and a Rose.
