One Cocktail

Ten To One, Ten To Rum, the elegance of Champagne and deep vast rich historic characters of Rum united together with a bonus third player, Ratafia Champenois, smooth, rich and sweet, crafted by the skilled Champagne makers in the same region, by some of your favourite houses.

Let’s dive deep into our next Glass of Bubbly Cocktail, inspired by the Caribbean to be enjoyed in your own home.

The Champagne – Mangin et Fils

Champagne Mangin et Fils came to be in the first half of the 20th century, at the time, Gabriel and Fernande produced still red wines and sold most of their wines in their bistro, which was the only meeting place in the hamlet “Le Chêne La Reine” near Leuvrigny.

When Champagne started experiencing significant commercial development, especially internationally, Gabriel decided to gradually adapt his approach and directed his production towards selling his grapes to well-known Champagne houses, in particular, Champagne Krug.

The second generation to venture into the Champagne world, René and Andrée decided to cease the bistro activity and the marketing of red wines to devote themselves towards the development of Champagne, this is when Champagne Mangin-Bertrand was born!

The third generation, Bernard and Francoise, developed an advanced marketing strategy in the 1980s, the period during which Champagne Mangin et Fils was born.

Each generation has brought an invaluable advancement to Champagne Mangin et Fils, increasing their production, quality of Champagne and brand awareness, building up the company to new heights.

As of today, Champagne Mangin et Fils is managed by Cédric Mangin, the fourth generation of the family.

Rum – Ten To One

Ten To One obtained its name from a phrase by the first Prime Minister of Trinidad and Tobago, Dr. Eric Williams. When rallying to preserve the first Caribbean federation of 10 countries, he famously said, “One from ten leaves zero”, reflecting the idea that we are stronger together than we are apart.

Ten To One – Caribbean Dark Rum – Tasting Notes “Freshly baked nut loaf, banana peels, sweet spices, leather, yellow apples and tobacco to enjoy.”

Their story persists, and an interesting interview with their founder Marc Farrell can be found here.
