Passionate Passion Fruit Cocktail

Welcome to the Passionate Passion Fruit Cocktail, a Cocktail so Passionate that it will require you to split the Passion Fruit in half to release some of that overflowing Passion.

In all seriousness, the Passionate Passion Fruit Cocktail is a Passion project, created from my Passion for Passion Fruit, so I hope you enjoy Glass of Bubbly’s Passionate Passion Fruit Cocktail, drawing from the flavours of Passion Fruit.

The Sparkling Wine – Borgo Conventi

Borgo Conventi has been taking care of its vineyards since 1975. The land in which Borgo Conventi is located was once owned by a noble landowner, where the first monastery in Farra d’Isonzo was built, today the land is covered by vines and the Borgo Conventi estate.

In 2001 the estate was acquired by the Folonari family, this brought in a higher production level without trading in any traditions, currently, the winery produces over 300,000 bottles of wine each year.

I had the pleasure of visiting Borgo Conventi a few years back, the estate is a mixture of money and comfort, keeping its nostalgic history while incorporating new and modern sets. We travelled up into their vineyards where we enjoyed a bottle of their Sparkling Wine. Currently, my opinion stands that the best way to enjoy a bottle of Sparkling Wine is in the vineyard that grew the grapes and with the people who produced it, the wine itself won’t physically taste any better, but you’ll be so high on the moment that your mind will make it taste like the angels have blessed you with this Glass of Bubbly.

The Gin – The Artful Pour

Crafted in Yorkshire, The Artful Pour created a range of artisan premium craft gins for you to experience.

The Artful Pour launched in early 2018, with a mission to build a global drinks company, showcasing a standout portfolio that places exceptional tastes and the story behind them, firmly on centre stage.

The core vision at the heart of their brand is to capture the essence of British provenance through heritage, the arts and modern day entertainment.

A Night at the Theatre

The Original Collection of Artful Pour Premium Craft Gins was inspired by the Empire Theatres of late Victorian Britain. The thriving Victorian entertainment industry had developed in response to vast social and cultural changes in the 19th Century.

Hanging proudly on the wall of Harrogate Empire Theatre, a vintage poster of star performers caught their eye: Miss Violet Vandella, The Last Blockhouse, The Mexican Spy, Tom Burton.

The familiar fizz of a Tom Collins cocktail reached out from the past and echoed around. A treasure trove of inspiration, and a real eureka moment! The Artful Pour was born.

The Artful Pour – Passion Fruit Gin – Tasting Notes “The wonderful zestiness from a real Passion Fruit is captured inside this Gin, with added tingly characters and zesty notes to keep you on your toes.”

Passionate Passion Fruit Cocktail Tasting Notes

Aroma – “Freshly cut passion fruit takes the lead of the aroma on this cocktail, if you try to move them out of the way to discover some more aromas, they move right back into place, saying I’m the star of this showing.”

Flavour – “The aroma is the flavour, lovely passion fruit, coming from the gin, but also from the real thing soaking in, subtle sherbety lemon citrus is located in the perfect position to encourage the passion fruit flavours rather than showcasing its set of skills, that citrus also comes from the Sparkling Wine adding a fizziness and rounded smoothness, drawing all the flavours in tight for you to discover.”
