Champagne Mangin et Fils – Rosé

Champagne Mangin et Fils came to be in the first half of the 20th century, at the time, Gabriel and Fernande produced still red wines and sold most of their wines in their bistro, which was the only meeting place in the hamlet “Le Chêne La Reine” near Leuvrigny.

When Champagne started experiencing significant commercial development, especially internationally, Gabriel decided to gradually adapt his approach and directed his production towards selling his grapes to well-known Champagne houses, in particular, Champagne Krug.

The second generation to venture into the Champagne world, René and Andrée decided to cease the bistro activity and the marketing of red wines to devote themselves towards the development of Champagne, this is when Champagne Mangin-Bertrand was born!

The third generation, Bernard and Francoise, developed an advanced marketing strategy in the 1980s, the period during which Champagne Mangin et Fils was born.

Each generation has brought an invaluable advancement to Champagne Mangin et Fils, increasing their production, quality of Champagne and brand awareness, building up the company to new heights.

As of today, Champagne Mangin et Fils is managed by Cédric Mangin, the fourth generation of the family.

Familia Schroeder – Deseado Rosé

Heinz Theodor Schroeder settled down in Patagonia in 1927 and began working in the wine industry, their winery and vineyards are located in San Patricio del Chañar, Patagonia at the heart of the southernmost wine region of Argentina. Chief enologist Leonardo Puppato helped in the technical design of the winery and also conducts the winemaking practices.

During the construction of the winery’s building, fossilized bones of a large herbivorous dinosaur were discovered. This became a massive part of Familia Schroeder, with them specially designing a cellar house to showcase the original bones in the exact place they were discovered. After several years of study, the paleontologists concluded that the fossils belonged to a new species, so the dinosaur received a new name: Panamericansaurus Schroederi, in recognition of the family’s contribution to the excavation works.

Ferrari Trento is the Official Toast of Formula 1, so if you watched Max Verstappen win the 2022 Season, you would have seen him drinking and spraying from a Jeroboam bottle of Ferrari on the podium. Ferrari Trento is a perfect winery to celebrate with.

The creation of Ferrari Trento is all down to the highly regarded Giulio Ferrari, who started his journey back in 1902, he started creating his extraordinary vineyard/winery in the divine Trento city in Italy that then started creating unforgettable Sparkling Wines. Giulio wanted to be able to turn the area of Trentino into a place capable of competing with the finest French Champagnes and I think it’s safe to say that his dream became a reality.

Interesting Fact – He knew the area of Trentino was a good location to plant vines, so after choosing the location he had the challenge of picking the vines he wanted to plant, he went for Chardonnay and ended up becoming the first person to make substantial plantings of Chardonnay in Italy.
