King Maker Sparkling Wine Cocktail

Every once in a while someone comes along who’s been chosen by the grace of God to guide people, a King to rule the lands, that King is about to be chosen.

A special King Maker Elixir has been crafted from the most divine among the realm, but its contents have been lost in the fiery depths of the forbidden lands.

Many have tried and all have failed to retrieve it, but now the time has come for you to try.

Our next King will rise after a Taste from the King Maker Elixir, will it be you?

The Sparkling Wine

‘Dionysus, the God of Wine, granted King Midas his wish of turning everything he touches into gold. Having almost lost his loved ones to his power, Midas soon learned that true wealth isn’t gold or possessions, but love and experiences.’

‘Making memories and celebrating moments is the heart of the Midas tale. Signed with a touch of Gold, Midas Prosecco goes beyond generations of knowledge to create the finest quality liquid to be shared with everyone.’ Their logo ‘Midas’ is designed in a way that makes it look like King Midas signed it himself with his golden touch.

Located in Bournemouth, they bring the Prosecco over from Italy, where they sell it online and to local hospitality establishments, you can find it in many places around the local area.

Their vines are refreshed by the sea breeze from the Adriatic, some of their vines are over 40 years old.

They put a lot of effort into their sustainability efforts, they don’t use any weed killers in their vineyards and use renewable energy whenever they can, their Proseccos are also Vegan Friendly.

Midas Prosecco – DOC Extra Dry – Tasting Notes

Aroma – “Pear blossom takes over the aroma, rising to greet you with its marvellous display, with bruised green pears and floral notes in the background on the aroma.”

Flavour – “Silky and creamy texture, with green pears and white apple flesh, then enters a lovely display of floral notes, with succulent honeysuckle at the close of the experience on the palate.”

The Kingmaker Vodka

“In The Spirit Of History”

Warwickshire Gin Company doesn’t just have fine Gin under their belt, they also offer Rum and Vodka, all distilled using a small batch method in their own distillery in Royal Leamington Spa.

The inspiration behind their spirit collection comes from their desire to capture a moment in history, developing flavours that truly represent the county’s own unique story, bringing their range of hand-crafted flavours to life.

The Kingmaker Vodka is completed by adding a hint of frankincense to create a regal, smooth finish.

The Kingmaker Vodka was created in honour of Richard Neville, an English Nobleman, who became the 16th Earl of Warwick. He was instrumental in the deposition of two kings, which led to his nickname of the ‘Kingmaker’.

The Kingmaker – Tasting Notes

Aroma – “Soft, smooth and silky, with a touch of natural herbal garden-grown potatoes on the aroma, the classic Vodka aromas fit for a King.”

Flavour – “Royal delicacy, smooth, but not compromising on its famous power, golden in quality, again a wonderful example of a Kings Vodka.”

‘What Inspired Warwickshire Gin Company to Create a Vodka for Richard Neville aka the ‘Kingmaker’?’

“Kingmaker Vodka was a spirit we had thought about for some time, as we make a frankincense concentrate to add to our Kingmaker Dry Gin and this has a unique, very smooth and oily finish.” – David Blick – Director of The Warwickshire Gin Company
