The Mauritius Navigator Cocktail Glass of Bubbly

It’s time to discover a new Land, a new Sparkling Wine, a new Rum and a new Cocktail, navigating into the Indian Ocean to explore the small island country of Mauritius, just like 18th Century French navigator Louis Antoine de Bougainville did in 1768.

Get ready for one of Glass of Bubbly’s original Cocktails, inspired by those who decided to explore the world in the unknowing times, introducing The Mauritius Navigator Cocktail.

The Sparkling Wine – Radgonske Gorice

The biggest and one of the most well-known Slovenian Sparkling Wineries is Radgonske Gorice, producing Sparkling Wine for everyone, supplying Slovenian Supermarkets and offering something a little more aged and complex for the wine connoisseur.

Radgonske Gorice is also the oldest Sparkling Wine producer in Slovenia, they started 170 years ago in 1852 and now produce 4,500,000 litres of wine every year, with a production that high, it makes sense that Radgonske Gorice is the largest producer of Sparkling Wine in Slovenia.

The Rum – Bougainville

Located in the island country of Mauritius and created by the Oxenham Craft Distillery, which was launched in 2010 by the Oxenham Family, they are one of Mauritius’ youngest and smallest distilleries situated in the region of Phoenix, the island’s centre.

Bougainville Rum was named after the 18th Century French navigator Louis Antoine de Bougainville, who called in at L’Ile de France (now Mauritius) in 1768, following an expedition commissioned by Napoleon to sail around the earth.

Bougainville Lemongrass White Rum – Tasting Notes  “Notes of lemongrass, green and yellow citrus, along with tropical notes and tropical citrus, melon and peaches with a touch of sweet spice.”
