The Gin – Amarula African Gin

It all begins with the Marula fruit.

Capturing the unique spirit of Africa, Amarula Gin carefully collects by hand, then washes, destones, pulps and cools, the marula fruits, honouring them at every stage. Distilled in Africa, Amarula donates £1 per every litre sold to the Amarula Trust.

Aroma – “A sophisticated blend of juniper berries hits the aroma with a delicate touch, it’s smooth and certainly rounded, with hints of orange skin freshly starched, followed by notes of dried lemon orange blossom and their No.1 the Marula Fruit on the aroma.”

Flavour – “Smooth and a touch of elegant sweetness, it warms the back of your throat in no time, while it does it enlightens the taste buds with notes of the expected juniper berries, dried sour tasting lemons, and angelica roots, a very subtle woody taste, with an emerging light of fresh fruitiness, starting with orange blossom and orange skins finishing once again with Marula Fruits on the palate.”
