Champagne Bollinger Grande Annee Vintage Prices

Made only from Grand and Premier cru grapes, La Grande Année is the embodiment of the carefully preserved traditional expertise of Champagne Bollinger. Vinified in oak barrels, sealed with natural cork and riddled by hand, this Champagne has waited patiently for 10 years in Bollinger’s chalky cellars.” – Champagne Bollinger

For many consumers, Bollinger is the Champagne of James Bond movies and its global fame might very well be down, thanks in some degree, to it’s connection to 007. Founded way back in 1827 and an official supplier to Buckingham Palace, the Bollinger house produces some of the finest and most regarded Champagne to a global market. With very traditional, almost outdated, production methods, with oak vinification allowing for greater ageing potential and its homage to the Pinot Noir grape, Bollinger is quite a unique brand to explore – Their vineyard estate has around 170 hectares of vineyards and this still independent producer also gives us the famous quote: “I drink Champagne when I’m happy and when I’m sad. Sometimes I drink it when I’m alone. When I have company I consider it obligatory. I trifle with it if I’m not hungry and drink it when I am. Otherwise, I never touch it unless I’m thirsty.” – Lily Bollinger

Along with Grande Année, Bollinger also offers labels such as Brut Special Cuveé, PNVZ, PNTX and R.D. Vintages (longer aged Grande Année). You will find Champagne Bollinger in the village of Aÿ.

The guide prices below are assuming a 75cl bottle is in good to excellent condition with evidence of correct storage with no damage. The price is a realistic selling price assuming the buyer will be in between the ‘price point’ of an end consumer / fine wine merchant. Professional selling format comes in to play for the older vintages and we must consider options such as placing them within fine wine auctions, for the younger vintages most likely the price is set and selling avenues such as online communications or even via eBay / Facebook marketplace / Amazon / Facebook Champagne Collecting groups or selling to your wine friends and family will be used.
