Vodka and Champagne Cocktail

The Perfect Vodka Cocktail

Global demand for Vodka is projected to rise at a rate of 6.2% over the next six years, this is partly thanks to the rise in Vodka Cocktails and Premium Vodka’s, Dima’s believes that this will be the year of the Craft Vodka, let’s hope they’re correct.

Vodka in Cocktails is mostly seen as an easy-to-drink, neutral Cocktail spirit, something to add the alcohol, but not so much to the flavour, although this is mostly true, there are producers out there looking to change this.

Of course, Vodka is going to be used in high-grade Cocktails, so this isn’t a new phenomenon, but if you’re someone that just puts Vodka in a Cocktail because you want a little alcohol, then this Cocktail might just change the way you see Vodka in Cocktails, for the better.

Now let’s meet the two stars of this amazing Cosmopolitan Cocktail.

Champagne Royal Riviera

Champagne Royal Riviera was created by Sara Ramirez from France and Kiron Barui from Australia, the Champagne sisters came together to create their own Champagne brand, they are both very passionate about creating amazing Champagne to be enjoyed all over the world.

They even have their own song on Spotify for you to listen to while enjoying a glass of their Champagne Royal Riviera, you can listen to it here.

Champagne Royal Riviera – Royal Riviera – Tasting Notes

Aroma 👃 “Lovely expressive aromas of vanilla ice cream, yeasty, lightly toasted bread, creamy and a touch of citrus.”

Flavour 👅 “Light citrus with hints of apricot and peach flavours, yeasty and creamy at the close.”

This Champagne Won a Gold Medal in the Creamy Category at the Glass of Bubbly Awards 2021

Dima’s Vodka

Dima’s Vodka is a fairly new creation, it was launched at the beginning of the pandemic, already showing that they can embrace the hardest of times, it was created by Ukrainian-born Dima Deinega to challenge consumer stereotypes of Vodka, as clearly seen by the outstanding bottle design, this is a Premium Vodka, in fact, it is a Premium Craft Vodka, distilled in Ukraine using the finest three grains, rye, wheat and barley, in distinct contrast to the single grain or potato-based vodkas that are normal sold.

Dima’s critically acclaimed Vodka wants you to try their Vodka, but before you do, throw out any preconceived notion and hopefully re-think how you perceive Vodka.

Dima’s Vodka is listed in restaurants and bars across London, including Sam’s Riverside, Porte Noire, La Trompette and many more.

Dima’s is available to purchase online at www.dimasvodka.com and at stockists across the UK.

The Cosmopolitan Cocktail

The idea for this Cocktail came from Dima’s Vodka Cocktails section, they have a selection of Cocktails which they recommend to enjoy with their Vodka, I found one which I adapted slightly to incorporate the Royal Riviera Champagne.

The Cosmopolitan Tasting Notes

Aroma – “Subtle notes of lemon juice, lemon zest, Cointreau and cranberry juice on the aroma.”
