Where to Enjoy a Glass of Bubbly in Hampshire

There are lots of  great restaurants and bars in Hampshire where you can enjoy a glass of bubbly. Hampshire isalso home to some amazing English wine vineyards, that offer tours for you to try and buy their sparkling wine.

The Chequers – Eversley Cross
An historic Hampshire pub serving fresh, seasonal food and great wine. Full of character and rustic charm. Prosecco and Champagne served by the glass, or go for a top Champagne served by the bottle.

Sky Bar – Farnborough
Located on the first floor and designed to encapsulate the style and seduction of Aviator’s interiors, Sky Bar serves guests with classic and contemporary cocktails to the background of ambient music.

Cellar Magneval – Fleet
A sophisticated and welcoming wine bar café in Fleet town centre serving fine wines, aperitif and cheeses, all with a touch of finesse. A nice choice of bubbly, including Champagne, Crémants and English sparkling (Chapel Down ‘Three Graces’ Brut).

The Atrium Champagne and Cocktail Bar – Liphook
The Old Thorns Manor Hotel Atrium cocktail and Champagne bar opens every evening from 7pm till late and is a rich palette of black and brown leather combined with a luxuriously lacquered mahogany, brass and mirrored glass bar.

Tours and Tastings

Hattingley Valley vineyard – £15
Located Near Alresford. Tours must be pre-booked and are scheduled to take place on the first Saturday of every month from April except during harvest.

Cottonworth
Cottonworth’s wine shop is open from Thursday to Saturday between 10am and 4pm. Guided tours cost £55 for two people with lunch and exclusive tasting.

Three Choirs Vineyard
Enjoy a tutored wine and cheese tasting in the beautiful surroundings of Three Choirs Wickham Vineyard. Available Wednesdays to Sunday: 2.30pm at £12.50 per person, booking essential.
