Wine Merchant Reports 24% Jump in Sparkling Wine Sales

Jascots Wine Merchants, specialist wine supplier to restaurants, hotels and caterers, has reported a 24% sales jump of sparkling wines.

English wines have proven particularly popular, rising by 41% in sales as Jascot has added 7 new English wines to their site under its own section. They have wines from Bolney, Three Choirs and Lyme Bay in their portfolio.

Jascots have a selection of Champagne and sparkling wines from around the world, including the UK, France, Spain, Italy, Australia, South Africa and more. They have a special partnership with Champagne Vollereaux to produce their exclusive Champagne Rimbaud.

Major stores such as Waitrose and M&S have been expanding their sparkling wine ranges in recent years to keep up with increasing demand – Waitrose now stocks over 100 English and Welsh wines.
