3 Vineyards to Visit in New Zealand

With their young but fast-growing sparkling wine industry, why not make a trip to a New Zealand vineyard and taste their fantastic bubbly while taking in the country’s stunning landscape. Mostly located around the Marlborough region, here’s a few places to get you started…
Marlborough, New Zealand
This family-run winery has it’s roots in France and follows the traditions of 12 generations of Le Brun Champagne makers. They only produce Methode Traditionelle wines and pride themselves on their high quality. Their most well-known is Cuvée No. 1, NV blanc de blancs.
Gisborne, Hawkes Bay and Marlborough
Currently New Zealand’s biggest sparkling wine export, this bubbly is gaining recognition worldwide. Lindauer uses grapes from New Zealand’s 3 biggest wine regions: Gisborne, Hawkes Bay and Marlborough. Try their classic range and if possible, their limited edition “infused” range.

The stunning Brancott Estate Heritage Centre is located on an elevated position overlooking the original Brancott Vineyard. The location highlights the beauty of the iconic Marlborough landscape. The Estate specialises in Sauvignon Blanc, and produces excellent sparkling wine – as well as offering wonderful scenery and a restaurant.
