Nyetimber Rosé 2009
29th May 2014
Since there was no frost damage and the fruit set was excellent, the 2009 yield was the highest ever recorded.
All wines are crafted according to the strict rules of the traditional method, aged for extended periods of time on the lees and given sufficient post disgorgement time before release.
Vibrant antique red rose colour, hint of copper tones, lovely tiny bubbles. Red mango, honey, hints of star anise, cardamom and alyssum. Red liquorice, red cherry & currant flavours. High intensity, with lovely round and full but soft texture. Finish is very long and full with redcurrant and hints of shortcrust pastry.
Vintage 2009
