23rd March 2022
With the world of Bubbly reaching all 4 corners of the world, we zone in on a little country that is not just making waves, but also rocking the boat. Slovenia has a deep love for Wine, it’s claimed that there is approximately one vineyard for every 75 people in Slovenia.
There are a lot of different Slovenian wineries I could recommend, but in this article, we focus on one winery, three different colours, white, rosé and red, each showcasing what Vina Kobal can offer.
The Vina Kobal brand presents wines from selected vineyards in Karst, Slovenia, its the oldest village in the area of Štanjel, the Vina Kobal brand presents the selected wine to you the Sparkling Wine lover.
The winery has an old heritage behind it and every day they make sure they keep to its traditions, always thriving to deliver you the best, whether it be a white, rosé or red.
They like many other wineries are always making sure they look after nature, as nature looks after them, they have just over 60 ha of vineyards planted in Karst, over the years they have become one of the leading wineries in the region.
Production on their wines varies, from maceration (leaving the skin in contact with the grape juice) taking between 24 to 240 hours and maturing their wines in either stainless steel or oak wood barrels.
