Arthur Christmas – Christmas Movie Cocktails

The heart-warming Christmas adventure of Arthur Christmas was released on the 11th (UK) and the 23rd (USA) of November 2011, the film cost $100 million to make and took in $147 million at the box office.
The film was a financial and critical success, with a high 92% rating on Rotten Tomatoes, also winning that year’s Golden Tomato Award for Best-Reviewed Animated Film.
Set on Christmas Eve, following the heartfelt, caring and somewhat clumsy son of Santa Claus, by the name of Arthur Claus, who discovers that his father’s high-tech gift-giving operation has failed to deliver one girl’s present. Setting out on a mission of his own, accompanied by his free-spirited and reckless grandfather, an enthusiastic young Christmas elf obsessed with wrapping gifts for children and a team of reindeer, he embarks on a mission to save this little girl’s Christmas and keep her believing in Santa Claus.
It stars James McAvoy as the lead voice of Arthur Christmas, with co-stars Bill Nighy, Jim Broadbent, Imelda Staunton & Ashley Jensen. Arthur Christmas earnt a total of $46,462,469 in North America, $33,334,089 in the UK and $67,622,914 in other countries, for a worldwide total of $147,419,472.
It would get released on DVD Blu-ray and Blu-ray 3D on the 6th of November 2012 in the US and on the 19th in the UK. An IOS video game titled Arthur Christmas: Elf Run was also released just a couple of days before the film’s initial release.

The Vodka – Fenspirits
Fenspirits Distillery, despite its wonderful creations, only operates out of a small shed in the fens, just outside of Wisbech.
They ferment and distil everything from scratch, fermenting sugar from sugar beet and distilling it into a 96% spirit for Vodka, before then re-distilling it into Gin, they also ferment sugar cane molasses which is then distilled into rum.
Each bottle is filled by hand, corked by hand, wax sealed by hand then labelled by…well, you get the picture!

- Run some Cold Water Over The Bowl of your Glass
- Roll it around in Icing Sugar
- Pour in 15mls of Aurora Vodka
- Top up with Blue Sparkling Wine
- Place In Two Candy Canes
- Add A handful of Carefully Placed Strawberry Laces
