We’re back from the dead, crafting a whole new exciting range of Halloween Cocktails, we’ve chosen some of the best Halloween films or video games and created a perfect Cocktail to accompany them, working alongside different wineries and distilleries, I’ll give you a little history into each film and the know-how to create a delicious themed Cocktail.
13 Frightful Nights – Night 7 – As Above, So Below
As Above, So Below
You have to go deeper to reach the top. As Above, So Below was directed by John Erick Dowdle and co-written by his brother Drew, it is an American horror film set in the Catacombs of Paris, would you be brave enough to explore one of the largest resting places for the dead? The film is presented in the found footage format of a documentary crew exploring the Catacombs of Paris, and finding themselves walking through the nine circles of Hell.
Scarlett: As above, so below. As I believe the world to be, so it is.
It was released on the 29th of August, 2014, produced by Legendary Pictures and distributed by Universal Pictures, unfortunately, the film wasn’t overly well received by critics, but certainly enjoyed by the people, grossed $41 million, on a budget of $5 million.
The Prosecco – Jaya
The story of JAYA Prosecco is above all one of passion, tradition and a family’s heritage. The company was founded in 2017 by the young Swiss-Italian entrepreneur Tancredi Pascale. Alongside his partner, Nathalie L’Eplattenier, he has an ambitious aim: to restore the prestige of Prosecco and provide consumers with information to help them rediscover it.

The Gin – Slingsby – Blackberry Gin
Beginning in North Yorkshire, in the town of Harrogate, Slingsby Gin was founded by Marcus Black and Mike Carthy who both embarked on this adventure together, it took over 15 months and 18 different variants of Gin blends before finding the perfect recipe.
The inspiration for the name ‘Slingsby’ came from the real William Slingsby who in 1571 discovered the unique properties of the natural spring water from Harrogate’s Tewit Well. His discovery brought thousands of visitors to ‘take the waters’ which were thought to have medicinal properties and to this day, people from all over the world visit the spa town to restore their body, mind and soul.
Slingsby Gin’s mission is to capture the ‘Spirit of Harrogate’ and deliver it in a bottle for you to enjoy from anywhere in the world.

- Coriander Powder
How To Make The As Above, So Below Cocktail
- 15mls of Blackberry Gin
- 10mls of Peach Green Tea
- 100mls of Prosecco DOC
- A Sprinkling of Coriander Powder
Tasting Notes
Aroma – “Sweet ripe blackberries, with a snowfall of coriander powder, wild brambles, icing sugar, pear drops and peaches on the aroma.”
Flavours – “A silky smooth and sweet combo with pear drops, ripe blackberries, fresh and slathered in syrup, with a grounding sensation of coriander and peach skins.”
