Champagne Gonet Sulcova – Gaia Grand Cru
4th July 2025
Husband and wife, Vincent Gonet and Davy Sulcova, settled in Épernay in order to create their brand “Gonet-Sulcova” in 1985. Their children, Karla and Yan-Alexandre, took over from the family estate in 1997 and 2003.
“Toasty brioche, freshly baked pastries, custard cream biscuit notes on the nose. Very high razor sharp rapier-like appley acidity but still beautifully in balance with the pastry notes, along with minerals, wet stones and salty sea air. A sparkling apple tart in a glass. A gingery hazelnut tinged finish.” – Glass of Bubbly

“This cuvée is made with our best Grand Cru Chardonnays from Le Mesnil-sur-Oger. These Chardonnays are harvested on the terroir of the Chétillons. The grape selection associated with a slow vinification in oaken barrels creates an elegant, ample and complex Champagne.” – Champagne Gonet Sulcova
