Visit Burn Valley Vineyard in Norfolk
5th August 2025
Nestled in the picturesque countryside of North Creake, Norfolk, Burn Valley Vineyard is a family run estate dedicated to crafting exceptional English wines.
Established in 2016 by the Robinson family, third generation Norfolk farmers, the vineyard spans 12 acres of south facing, free draining flinty soil with a chalk base, ideal for viticulture.
John and Jeffrey Robinson bought the farm in 1989. It was John’s initial idea to plant vines and his daughter Laura took the idea and ran with it… planting the 17,000 vines in the vineyard.
Burn Valley wines are boutique and produced to the highest possible standard. Their head winemaker, Mathew, learnt his trade in New Zealand and his skills and knowledge helps them produce award winning wines.
Their aim is to capture the essence of Norfolk in a bottle and with their vineyard being on Chalk and Flint they have the perfect site to do this.
The vineyard cultivates nine grape varieties, including Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Bacchus, Solaris, Rondo, and Regent. Since their inaugural harvest in 2018, Burn Valley has been producing award-winning wines that capture the essence of Norfolk’s unique terroir.
Discover their Blanc de Blanc 2021, a Gold Medal Winner in the Sea Breeze category at the Glass of Bubbly Awards 2024 and their Sparkling Rose 2021, which won a Silver Medal in the Light & Fruity category.
