Fox & Fox is a boutique English sparkling wine producer based in Sussex, known for crafting limited quantities of high-quality, distinctive wines.

Jonica & Gerard Fox have been growing vines since 2004 and producing wine since 2009. Throughout they have remained true to their first love – crafting limited quantities of top-quality Sparkling Wines with a unique English twist. They focus on using their own grapes, grown on their 30-acre vineyard, and employ minimal intervention winemaking techniques to allow the fruit’s character to shine through.

Their vines sit close to the ancient hilltop village of Mayfield, amongst the rolling hills, woodlands and deep-cut ghylls of the Sussex High Weald. Surrounded by bluebell woods in springtime and over-flown by Buzzards, Red Kites and other hawks in summer, their wines are an evocation of this unique Sussex countryside at its best.

This winery has produced some extraordinary sparkling wines, but you don’t have to take our word for it, Fox & Fox has won several Gold Medals, taken home a Trophy 7 years running at the Glass of Bubbly Awards and was behind The World’s Finest Glass of Bubbly winner in 2021 with the Paxton & Whitfield 2015 Sparkling Wine. Fox & Fox produced this special own-label English Sparkling Wine for Royal Warrant holders Paxton & Whitfield – the first English wine to be launched by the 200-year-old British cheesemonger.
