Zesty & Zingy Award Winning Wines 2025

The judges at the Glass of Bubbly Awards place each wine into a relevant consumer-friendly category. They are then scored for how well they fit that category, with the highest scoring winning the trophy.

For the Zesty & Zingy Category, the judges were looking for a wine which is citrus flavoured with a definite zing to it

Plumpton Estate – Charmat – England

Judges Tasting Notes – Green apple, white peach, lemon, lime and melon on the nose. Lemony and zesty on the palate with a persistent mousse. A touch of salinity, citrus and yellow apple with notes of delicate bread, lime zest and tangerine.
