A Trip To Champagne Henri Chauvet

When entering the grounds of Champagne Henri Chauvet your day gets a bit brighter by a lovely garden of flowers and trees, you enter the building and are greeted with a big smile from Damien Chauvet and his lovely wife.
A husband & wife team where they both wear various hats to keep their winery moving forward, Damien first took us on a tour of his chalk cellars, the entrance and first staircase down were recently done up by Damien during the Lockdown, along with a brand new handrail going down illuminating the stairs.
We were shown around a cellar full of Champagne while also being told stories on some markings on the wall, from a line placed to perfectly create an arch to a heart with two initials in.
