André Chemin Champagne
19th May 2026
This family-owned grower Champagne house was founded by André and Micheline Chemin in 1948 in Sacy, a Premier Cru village in the Montagne de Reims region of France. The house has remained family-operated for over 70 years and is currently managed by the third generation, Sébastian and Eva Chemin.
They own 6.5 hectares of vineyards, with a focus on Pinot Noir. Their Champagnes are often described as refined, powerful, and rigorous, with a strong focus on terroir expression. Their philosophy is to blend tradition with modern, along with sustainable techniques to maintain high-quality standards.
Lightbreaker Rosé
Primarily made from Pinot Noir with a smaller proportion of Chardonnay and an addition of Pinot Noir red wine.
This Champagne is often described as a ‘Beauty & the Beast’ blend—offering a delicate appearance but a robust, powerful taste experience.
Pairs well with duck, pheasant and black fruit-based tarts.
Tasting notes: Bursting with red fruit, ripe strawberries, cherries, and raspberries in aromas and flavour, with a touch of minerals.
Gold Medal in the Summer Days category at the Glass of Bubbly Awards 2025.
Little Dark Mountain Dosage Zéro
100% Pinot Noir Blanc de Noirs Premier Cru from the Montagne de Reims, known for its high purity, intense salinity, and zero added sugar. It shows the great richness of this terroir.
Pairs well with Oysters, Caviar, olives, salted nuts, spiced meat and aged cheeses, like Parmesan, Manchego, or Pecorino Romano.
Tasting notes: A great selection of aromas and flavours, including vanilla, red apple skin, red berries, yellow apple and almond with mineral and oak notes.
Gold Medal in the Meditation category at the Glass of Bubbly Awards 2025.
