Travel down to the vineyards and orchards, let’s pick ourselves up a bottle of Sparkling Wine from Croatia and Apple Brandy from England, it’s time to craft a Fizz Cocktail.
Sparkling Wine – Didin San
A Winery from the wonderful Sparkling Wine producing country of Croatia, with a vast and delicious history, Croatian Sparkling Wines aren’t often experienced outside of the country, they even say that the best Croatian Sparkling Wines never leave the country, well, it seems that this little gem slipped out and made its way to the Glass of Bubbly Awards, taking home a Silver Medal, produced in the Traditional Method, this Sparkling Wine is well worth a taste.
Hotel Borovnik – Didin San
Aroma – “Dried apricot and peaches, yellow fruits, yeasty and freshly baked pastries, notes of citrus, dried lemon, lemon on pancakes, and more on the aroma.”
Flavour – “Fizzy yellow floral and citrus characters, with notes of peaches, apricots, yellow apples and lemon on the palate, not forgetting a faint hint of a lemon pastry.”

Apple Brandy
An independent small-batch copper-pot distillery located in the old market town of Towcester in South Northamptonshire, producing spirits and liqueurs.
The creation we’re looking at today is their Apple Brandy, produced from locally sourced apples, Wharf Distillery are a small team, with a lot of vision, with a whole host of different spirits, including Rum, Gin, Vodka and Liqueurs to explore.
English Apple Brandy – Tasting Notes – “Sweet caramelised apples and toffee apples on the aroma, with a strength of matured apple and oak on the palate.”

- Blackcurrant Syrup
- Rosemary
- Green Apple
- Red Apple
How To Make The Apple Berry Crush Cocktail
- 20mls of Apple Brandy
- 5mls of Blackcurrant Syrup
- 75mls of Sparkling Wine
- Place in a Few Leaves of Rosemary
- Thinly Slice a Red & Green Apple, Then Place Through A Cocktail Stick In Alternative Colours
