“At first I was a waiter but the head bartender who was in our restaurant was too stylish on his job. Every day when I arrive at work I watch it from start to finish. One day I spoke with him, I wanted to be a bartender and he gave me the opportunity to be a bartender. Since then I have been doing a very good job behind my bar. I also trained a lot of bartenders when I was in Morocco but now I am Bartending in Qatar” – Elhadji Diaw

What was the inspiration behind your Flower Power Cocktail?

“The flower power cocktail came from an inspiration of one of my clients. she came one day to the bar and asked me to prepare a cocktail for her that she had never drunk in her life, automatically by instinct I took the ingredients and made the cocktail, then when she drank it, she liked it too much and it is on this story that I created the name of flower power” – Elhadji Diaw

Ingredients

• Gin
• Sparkling Wine
• Apple and Pear Cordial
• Morello Cherry Puree
• Lime Juice
• Aquafaba
• Simple Syrup

How To Make The Flower Power Cocktail

• 6cl-60mls of Tanqueray Gin
• 4cl-40mls Apple and Pear Cordial
• 2cl-20mls Morello Cherry Puree
• 2cl-20mls Lime Juice
• 2cl-20mls Aquafaba
• 1cl-10mls Simple Syrup
• Fill Shaker With Ice
• Hard Shaker and Pour into Glass
• Top up with Sparkling Wine
