Birds of Prey Event Comes to Squerryes this Summer

Squerryes in Westerham is offering two special experience days with ‘Willows Bird of Prey’ on 22 August and 7 September 2024.

Taking place in the heart of the beautiful north downs countryside next to the vineyard overlooking the vines, the event will include a thrilling birds of prey demonstration followed by an opportunity to handle some of the beautiful birds of prey with the help of the experienced falconers.

Jo Grange, Marketing Manager at Squerryes said: “The incredible agility of the birds, which come from all over the world, is wonderful to watch over our vineyard and there’s nothing quite like holding one of these magnificent, rare birds and seeing them up close.”

When participants arrive, they will be introduced to the Willow Birds of Prey team by Squerryes ambassadors before watching a thrilling and informative birds display demonstration.  The event will end with a photo opportunity and the option to handle some of the birds.

Afterwards, enjoy a chilled glass of Brut or a sparkling elderflower juice which is included in the event ticket.

The birds of prey events can be booked online and will take place between 11am and 12.30pm at the Rosé Vineyard.  There is plenty of free parking and tickets are £30 for adults and £16 for children 8 to 18.  Squerryes members can enjoy a discount on adult tickets at £25.
