A new Prosecco Bar called Caffè Rizzoli has opened in Nottingham’s Victoria Centre, serving bubbly and food. It’s the second Rizzoli venue after the success of the first, opened in Sheffield in 2012.

Rizzoli Nottingham is situated right next to the city’s famous Emett Clock and is a great pit-stop for shoppers.

Prosecco is available by the glass or bottle from 9am to 8pm. The wine hails from small, family-run vineyards located in the hillsides of Valdobbiadene. The bar is partnered with the Bortolomiol family who have been growing vines in Italy since the 18th century.

Prices start at £4.95, or if you fancy French bubbly, there is also Champagne available including Laurent-Perrier Rosé NV and Veuve Clicquot.

As for a bite to eat, the menu boasts Italian dishes and British classics, including pasta, cheeses, meat, seafood, sandwiches, risotto and delightful desserts such as cakes and Italian ice cream.

The reception to the bar has already been positive as Prosecco provides an affordable, but luxurious retreat amongst the usual coffee shops. It also serves a typical café menu so it’s a welcome place to relax any time of day.
