Celebrate the New Year with a Glass of Bubbly!

For most of us seeing in the New Year has to be associated with the ‘pop’ of a cork of something bubbly!

For years the most popular choice for this occasion would be Champagne, but the sparkling wine industry is the fastest growing and we now have a wide range of bubbly to choose from.

Prosecco is rapidly becoming a favourite and is overtaking Champagne in sales but Prosecco sales are growing at the fastest pace, Cava sales are far bigger overall, accounting for around half of sparkling wine retail sales.

English Sparkling Wine has also gone from strength to strength over the past decade and is winning many awards.

Franciacorta is another sparkling wine that is growing in recognition.
