Celebrity Interview: Stephen Hendry MBE

Stephen has won the Snooker World Championship a record seven times and was world number one for eight consecutive years between 1990 and 1998 and again in 2006/2007.

In 1985 at the age of 16 he became the youngest professional snooker player. In 1990, at the age of 21 he was the youngest-ever snooker World Champion. Hendry has the distinction of holding the most world ranking titles (36). In May 2012 he retired from the sport to concentrate on his commercial interests, he remains a commentator for BBC Snooker.

Where’s the most memorable place you’ve ever enjoyed a Glass of Bubbly?
The most memorable place I have had Champagne was after winning my 7th world title.

Which is your favourite Champagne/Sparkling wine?
My favourite Champagne is Dom Pérignon.
