Celebrity Spirits Cocktails

With an increasing number of celebs making moves in the wines and spirits markets, Tesco has a great range of exciting celebrity owned brands on the shelves.

The sparkling wine used for these cocktails was No.1 Family Estate Assemblé, a traditional method sparkling wine producer in Marlborough, New Zealand. It won a Silver Medal Winner in the Pastries Delight category at the Glass of Bubbly Awards 2023. It has toast and vanilla aromas. Flavours of vanilla, buttered toast, sweet spice, nutmeg and apple with citrus notes.

Rod Stewart’s Woflie’s Blended Scotch Whisky (£35.00)

Brought to you by the legendary Sir Rod Stewart, Wolfie’s Whisky embodies the rock ‘n roll spirit inspired by his wildest days. Whilst also embracing his ‘cockney Scotsman’ persona and paying homage to his Scottish heritage.

Wolfie’s is the perfect blend of grain and malt whiskies, aged in American oak bourbon casks. Taking inspiration from Sir Rod’s favourite dessert – warm apple pie – Wolfie’s packs a punch with flavours of warming cinnamon, fresh vanilla and baked apple.

As Sir Rod Stewart would say;  “Wolfie’s really is a RASCAL of a THING.”

Aroma: Cooked apple and waves of oaken vanilla, with a touch of butterscotch and sweet spice.
Palate: Cinnamon swirls, vanilla pods and poached pear – with notes of syrupy flapjack and sweet smoke.
Finish: A touch of tangy marmalade and more spiced orchard fruits – while charred oak and vanilla linger.

40ml Wolfie’s Whisky
60ml Apple Juice
Top up with sparkling wine

Aroma – Baked apple with hints of vanilla, peach and citrus.
Flavour – Apple with hints of roasted stone fruits, cinnamon, vanilla, citrus and buttery brioche.

Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson’s Teremana (£40.00)

Created in a small town in the highlands of Jalisco, founder Dwayne Johnson worked with a Mexican family-owned distillery to build a unique home on the grounds solely for Teremana Blanco Tequila. Here they craft Teremana with a love for great tequila made the right way, in small batches, by hand.

Teremana Blanco Tequila has bright notes of citrus, complemented by a smooth undertone of vanilla and sweet agave. Its crisp, clean finish makes it an excellent choice for enjoying neat, on the rocks, or in a refreshing margarita or sparkling cocktail.

Ginger Rock Cocktail

40ml Teremana Blanco
20ml Ginger syrup or liqueur
Top up with sparkling wine

Aroma – Notes of ginger and vanilla with a rich warm oaky aroma.
Flavour – Ginger with hints of roasted stone fruits and citrus with a touch of vanilla.
