Champagne author Michael Edwards receives Special Achievement Award

A fine gentleman of the Champagne and sparkling wine industry, Michael Edwards, received a ‘Significant Contribution to the World of Champagne & Sparkling Wine’ award from Glass of Bubbly during The World’s Finest Glass of Bubbly award in Westminster. Claude Giraud was the special guest to award Michael his trophy along with a special inscribed magnum of Champagne Henri Giraud.
Michael is a recognised and frequent attendee at many wine tasting events across London and press tours internationally, a respected wine / food writer and journalist who specialises in Champagne, sparkling wines, Burgundy and gastronomy. Michael has also written ‘The Finest Wines of Champagne’ which is available on Amazon here.
A special speech was laid on for Michael from Claude (kindly translated into English by Gauthier Vecton of team Henri Giraud) who, like many people in the wine industry, recognised Michael’s passion and commitment to the world of wine and his dedication in exploring and promoting Champagne.
