Champagne Autreau releases new Cuvée – Blanc de Blancs Millesimé

It was a great pleasure to attend the launch party of the Blanc de Blancs Millesimé (2019) label from Champagne Autreau in Champillon. The day started with a tour of the winery and varied recent storage expansions, then onto a wonderful Champagne bar area with light foods and a live band – Speeches came from Eric and Laurent.

Tasting notes: “Appropriate branding for a fine addition to the Champagne Autreau range – The Blanc de Blancs millesime label is an alround fine Champagne which will tick the box for many. An initial fine golden yellow and streams of fine perlage greet you. Aromas show pastry notes with fresh yellow stone fruits and lemon zest, complex yet young a fresh delivery. Flavours are similar and deliver that French patisserie character that you want from a longer aged cuvée.“
