Champagne Cocktails at the Soho Hotel, London
12th April 2022
London is an endless supply of trendy bars and restaurants from east to west and via both sides of the river (Thames). Even if you are after some Champagne cocktails then the options are still relatively high and to suit many tastes and budgets. One of the hotspots of London for social drinks is Soho which nestles in nicely within the famous West End and in amongst theatres and bars galore.
Vibrant and alive with a great variation of choice, drinks in Soho is a popular way to spend the best occasions with family and friends and one which attracts millions of international tourists annually.
The Soho Hotel, located between Dean Street and Waldour Street, is a character destination for drinks located with it’s zinc bar and extensive an cocktail menu – A warm and busy atmosphere greets you, interior design touches in the reception to a somewhat artistic positive clash of styles within the bar area. Behind the bar shows the depth of spirits on display thus cocktail opportunities along with bold / loud wallpaper catching the eye to the unique glass top tables filled with children’s old retro metal (Dinky) toy cars and even old pin ball machine inserts.
Cocktails are what draws you in and the choice is wide and likely to appeal to many and most. For this review we were served two from the menu, Refuel Mojito Royale (Mount Gay Black Barrel, Cremant de Bourgogne, lime, mint) and a Refuel Aperol Spritz (Aperol, Prosecco, homemade orange cordial, Fever-Tree soda) costing £16 and £13 respectively. For the quality of venue, location and style of cocktails then price is fair – If you are a lover of a retro feel atmosphere then it adds to the value of your experience.
The Soho Hotel is part of the Firmdale Hotel Group.
