Champagne Michel Gonet
29th January 2015
Since the inception of Champagne House GONET in 1802, seven generations of the Gonet family have overseen its prosperous growth.
In 1973, Michel GONET, whose Champagnes bear his name today, modernized and increased the wine cellars with the objective of making world-class wines. To this end, he brought in modern equipment and enlarged the winemaking and wine storage facility at a new property in Avize, in the heart of the Côte de Blancs.
Since the mid-80s, Michel Gonet’s vineyards have covered 40 hectares over the villages of Oger, Le Mesnil sur Oger, Montgueux and Fravaux.
