A highly regarded Champagne House, producing incredible Champagnes, they took home 4 Gold Medals and 1 Category Trophy at the Glass of Bubbly Awards 2024, blowing the judges away with the quality within the bottles.
The Sanger brand was founded in 1952. They hold 13 Hectares of vineyard, have 42 Grands Crus representing the entire Champagne appellation, and 70% supplies of Grand Cru Chardonnay and Pinot Noir
“Glorious green apples, pears, and yellow fruits, peaches, plums with a delightful nuttiness, croissants and okay characters on the nose. Smooth depth/length of okay notes and nuttiness, including walnut, almonds and nutty oils.” – Glass of Bubbly
This Vintage Champagne is the result of the contribution of the first sixteen former students, founders of the Sanger Champagne Cooperative. It thus clearly takes a name in their honor: Fathers of Origins.
